I have five years of tutoring experience with over six different agencies. I have taught a range of ages and qualifications, from KS2 up to adult learners. From my own educational background, I fully understand the importance of both enjoying the subject and working towards the final exam. I have always needed and achieved the highest grades in order to follow my aspirations, and as such have developed a fluency in optimising exam performance. I can help with university applications and personal statements, and have personally mentored two successful Oxford applicants. As a lover of academia, I by no means want to turn the subject into a memorisation of mark schemes, and I aim to share my enthusiasm for my subjects with my tutees. Indeed, many of my tutees are adult learners and we enjoy the lack of formal pressure and the freedom to explore a wider range of ideas.
